New Delhi: Delhi is likely to receive rain for the next two days under the influence of Western disturbances.
Rain activities are likely to increase on Monday and Tuesday and the ‘yellow’ warning is in place.
“When Western disturbances will have an impact on the area, this city tends to receive light to moderate rain on Sunday.
There is a mild shower estimate on Monday,” said an official met.
The official added that dry weather most likely in the region began October 19.
On Saturday, the minimum temperature was recorded at 20 degrees Celsius, one degree above normal, in Safdarjung, which is a city base station.
The night temperature reached 18.6 degrees Celsius, one degree below normal, on Friday.
The maximum temperature is reported at 35.5 degrees Celsius, one degree above normal.
A meeting official said because the cloudy sky expected for the next few days, the minimum temperature is expected to remain above normal.
“The night temperatures gradually began to dip in the last three days but because of the cloud cover, the temperature is expected to remain above normal,” said an official met.
According to the Department of Indian Meteorology, the minimum temperature is likely to touch 21 degrees Celsius on Sunday.
After the rainfall is complete, the temperature tends to be dipped again.
The minimum temperature can drift around 18 degrees Celsius from 18 to 20 October.
