Gurugram: Minister of Manohar, Minister of Manohar Lal Khattar announced on Saturday that the state government is framing a policy to provide a permanent electrical connection to the residents of the Gurugram private developer colony which has been rejected by a permanent connection because of this incomplete infrastructure work in these colonies.
Dakshin Haryana Bijli Vitran Nigam (DHBVN) has stopped publishing a new electrical connection to property owners in the colony developed by 16 builders because they have not paid the discussion infrastructure fee of RS 317 Crore.
The decision is expected to be able to benefit thousands of residents who have bought new property in this society.
These people who live in these colonies face the tribulation of power because these developers fail to clean up contributions to create the infrastructure needed for unbroken electricity supply.
More than 40,000 people live in this area and will benefit.
According to DHBVN officials, this housing colony developer failed to establish around 20 substations for the power supply.
“Thousands of families who have bought and built houses in these areas do not get an electrical connection even though they have paid all contributions to the government.
The announcement made by CM will benefit some residents,” said Ramesh Kumar, who has bought property in Southend’s uppal and fighting to get a power connection.
He even applied the case at the Gurugram court in this matter.
Colonies who will benefit include Sushant Lok 1, 2, & 3, Palam Vihar, South City, & 2, Malibu City, Ardee City, Mayfield Park, Southend Uppal, Suncity, Saraswati Kunj and several others.
The problem related to the problem in getting an electrical connection in this community was raised before CM during the district complaint committee meeting.
Khattar said that the state government formed a policy to provide connections to the population of these regions.
“In the colony where the population has paid the cost of external developers (EDC), the government will develop infrastructure after taking money from the developer.
While in cases where people have not paid EDC, they can pay the delayed EDC and the department will develop the infrastructure needed to provide Connection, “CM said.
According to the plan, the developers should provide land and make payments to DHBVN for the construction of 18 21kva substations, and two 6KVA substations.
While Unitech and Ansal API must ensure the establishment of each of the four substations, VIPUL and Ansal Buildwell must develop two respectively, while Suncity, Vatika, Malibu Towne, Ardee City, Southend, Parsvnath, Sheetal and Saraswati have to build one substation -Masing.
Raheja, JMD, Parsvnath and BPTP need to pay DHBVN more than Rs 12 Crore to prepare other power related infrastructure in their colonies.
