Jaipur: There is no power outages in the state since Friday as another unit of Saparh Thermal Power Station began producing electricity, claiming the government on Saturday.
Additional Chief Secretary (Energy) Subodh Agrawal said that amid a lack of coal supply and the crisis of power in the state, the situation had increased due to the efforts of the Chief Minister of Ashok Gehlot.
From October 6, Indian coal subsidiary, NCL and SECL, sent 65 rules of coal.
101 other coal rakes have been sent from the PKCL from the state government, he said.
Agarwal told me that during the discussion with the Secretary of the Union Cancel Force, Secretary of the Power and Secretary of the Environment in New Delhi recently, the state was effectively presented, where the Secretary of the Union Government provided a clear indication to increase coal supply and now supply was efficient.
Aggarwal informed that electricity production has begun in priority in closed thermal units in the state and in the past eight days, around 1,700MW power plants have begun in four units.
In Suratgarh, 250MW power production has begun in unit-2, while before this, 600MW in Kalisindh Thermal, 195MW at the Thermal City Power Station and 660MW in Unit 6 at Power Thermal Station Saparh has begun, he said.
