Versailles, France: Real Madrid Forward Karim Benzema took place in France on Wednesday which was accused of involvement in the extortion efforts of former international teammate Mathieu Valbuena in a case known as “sextape affairs”.
Benzema, 33, was allegedly helping a group of suspected teachers to approach Valbuena in an effort to extort money.
Four other men were also tried.
This case is valuable Benzema and Valbuena aged 37 years where they on the French national team, although Benzema was restored to the lineup for the European Championship this year.
This case centered on the role that Benzema was suspected of playing in murky matters six years ago, which began when Valbuena submitted her smartphone to Axel Ancot, a man connected to a soccer circle in Port Southern City of Marseille, with a request to transfer the contents to new devices .

Blackmailers then went to the former French international Djibril Cisse, who refused to act as their messenger, instead of warning Valbuena from what happened.
Cisse, who played for the Liverpool Premier League club during his career, was initially charged in this case, but then cleaned.
What happened was an imbroglio involving several shadow intermediaries, one of which was apparently a disguised agent called “Luka” placed by the police who tried to get evidence before taking action against the protagonist.
Finally, the squeezed suspected of going to one of the old friends of Benzema, Karim Zenati, who prosecutors asked Benzema’s help register to reach Valbuena.
On October 6, 2015, Benzema went to meet Valbuena in his room at the French national team training center at Clairefontaine, West Paris.
He told his team-mate that he could introduce it to “trustworthy people” to help him “manage” the possibility of publishing video compromise.
In what Benzema claimed was an attempt to help his teammate from a difficult situation, he told him: “Be careful ‘mathematics’, this is a criminal who is very, very heavy.” Benzema then called his childhood friend Karim Zenati, who then acted as an intermediary for the alleged test, and told him in a conversation with the police: “He doesn’t think we are serious.” The prosecutor said that the word “US” proved that Benzema saw himself as part of the extortion scheme.
Valbuena said later that the conversation left him feeling that he was “played for fools”.
“If he doesn’t want us to handle this for him, he has to deal with Piranha,” said Zenati, claiming later that all he wanted to do was warn Valbuena on the existence of the video.
Benzema replied that “they will dilute it”, and in the next conversation called Valbuena with a degrading term for homosexual, which he said later “friendly”.
The maximum sentence for involvement in extortion efforts is five years in prison and a fine of 70,000 euros ($ 81,000).
Benzema argues that police officers disguised using dishonest methods to pull them into affair.
It was not clear on Monday whether the striker, scheduled to play for Real Madrid against Shakhtar Donetsk in the Champions League match in Ukraine on Tuesday, will attend the trial.
His lawyer did not respond to AFP requests for clarification.
Valbuena, who now plays for the Greek club Olympiakos, will be present, the lawyer said.
The Sextape case caused Benzema to be exiled from the French national football team for many years – the decision called ‘racist’ – but the striker returned to “Les Bleus” this year for the European Championship.
France coach Didier Deschamps said this month “he is no longer the same person, he is cooked”.
Benzema has scored a total of 243 real goals and remains an important part of their side.
