Intel CEO wants to win the Apple business, this is the way

It’s been a year now since Apple ‘throws’ Intel to make the silicon-based processor itself for the range of Mac computers.
In November 2020, Apple launched the M1 chip and explained that he wanted to stay away from the Intel processor.
As Apple Gears to launch the second generation M1 processor, the Intel Pat Gelsinger CEO has signaled that it and the company is not ready to give up on Apple as a customer.
In an interview with Axios, Gelsinger said that he hoped to win back “their business works” in referring to the Apple processor.
“Apple decided they could do a better chip than we could.
And, you know, they do a pretty good job.
So what I have to do is make the chip better than they can do it yourself.
I hope to win back This business is, as well as many other business things, over time, “he said in an interview.
Gelsinger also said that Intel must ensure that their products – processors in this matter – are better than Apple.
“I have to make sure our products are better than them, that my ecosystem is more open – and vibrant – from them, and that we create more interesting reasons for developers and users to land on Intel-based products.
So I will fight hard to win the business Apple in this area.
“When Apple launched the M1 processor last year, he gave a wide timeline to when his products would move from Intel to his own chipset.
Last year, it was a MacBook Pro, MacBook Air, Mac Mini which was launched with the M1 processor.
In 2021, we have seen the iMac and iPad Pro move to the M1 processor too.
At the event released on October 18, Apple is expected to launch a new MacBook Pro variant with a new processor – rumored to be called M1x or M1 Pro.
While Gelsinger might be bullish about winning Apple’s business, it’s rather difficult to see a giant based in Cupertino back to Intel for several reasons.
Apple has control over all hardware components and software with M1 processor.
Secondly, the M1 processor has been recognized by critics and users, so unless Apple has a very different plan, it might be rather difficult for Intel to win back Apple.
