New Delhi: National capital has reported the first death because of dengue fever this year, while the number of cases of diseases transmitted through vectors has increased to more than 720, according to the citizenship reports released on Monday.
Of the total dengue cases in Delue this year, 382 has been reported this month until October 16.
The total number of cases this year until October 9 stood at 480.
According to the citizenship report on the disease transmitted by a vector released on Monday, one death and a total of 723 dengue cases this season has been recorded this season until October 16, which is the highest count since 2018 for the period same.
In September this season, 217 cases were recorded, the highest number for this month in the last three years.
