With the number of cases of Covid-19 daily decreasing in Dakshina Kannada and Kasaragod Kerala Regency, DK District Administration plans to allow Uroos Festival in Ullal Dargah, a center of Islamic pilgrims popular in South India.
The 25-day festival at Hazrat Sayyid Muhamad Madani Dargah, known as Ullal Dargah, attracted Lakh pilgrims from all over the country.
Dargah Committee has conducted a pencil on December 23 to January 16 for this festival.
This festival is held every five years.
It is scheduled to be held in 2020 (Uroos earlier in 2015) but was postponed after a hit pandemic.
