Kanpur: Family members and relatives of property dealers, who were beaten to death on Friday night near the Paski Paski, held a protest and refused to cremate his body on Sunday.
On Sunday morning, the victim’s father said that he would take his son’s body for the last ceremony only after all the defendants were arrested.
Then, the chaos won when he threatened to sacrifice himself.
West DCP and ACP Kalyanpur reached a place with heavy police and calming the situation.
To remember, Ajay (25), Shivanand Tiwari’s son, a resident of the Panki Ratapur colony, was beaten to death on Friday night.
Alleged that the defendant had killed him when he refused to give them Rs 500 to consume liquor.
In Shivanand complaints, the police have registered firs against three to four people including Dharmendra Singh, Deepu Bhadauria and Sunil Chaturvedi under the assault section, riots and murders.
But the defendant was still running away.

On Sunday, Shivanand refused to conduct the last ceremony, and demanded the arrest of all the defendants.
Heavy police forces were deployed outside Ajay’s house to avoid unwanted events.
Panki Inspector Dadhibal Tiwari said that the situation had been appeased and family members had agreed to do the last rite after the guarantee.
They were told that a separate police team was formed and the raid was being carried out to arrest all the defendants immediately.
