City to hold Covid’s first assembly session

Nagpur: While last year’s winter assembly session scheduled for Nagpur was canceled due to a pandemic, the state government had strengthened plans for December 2021.
On Monday, a multi-department meeting was held in the city to write action plans.
Rajendra Bhagwat, the main secretary of Maharastra’s legislature, met with the Divisional Prajaka Lavangare-Verma Commissioner, Commissioner of NMC Radhakrishnan B, Comprector District R Vimala, CEO of ZP Yogekar among other officials.
The Legislative Affairs Advisory Committee meeting will be held in Mumbai next week.
Monday’s meeting is about reviewing the initial preparation made by all departments for additional preparation.
This year’s winter session from Maharashtra’s legislature was proposed in Nagpur from 7 December because the threat of a pandemic was still not over, preventative measures were also discussed.
All who entered the legislature need to complete both vaccination doses.
They must produce a vaccination certificate and may also need to undergo a RT-PCR test.
Therefore it has been suggested for all scheduled to be part of the legislature, directly from public representatives for media personnel, to complete the PCR test before the beginning.
The entry will also be limited in the view of the pandemic.
The legislator seating chart will also be planned to remember the social distance norms, with the basic rules is that they will occupy alternative seats.
