Sony has teased the launch of the new Alpha camera on October 21 at 10 am ET.
The company will launch the Mirrorless A7 IV model which has long been awaited, Lapor Engadget.
The report also reveals most of the main specifications, such as 33-megapixel sensors and 4K 60P videos with 10-bit XAVC all-i recordings.
Although, Sony has not officially confirmed the name of the camera or specifications.
The expected specifications are expected to become a full mirrorless camera frame that will use the Sony e-mount for the lens.
This will display a 33MP full-frame sensor which is reported to be accompanied by the XR Bionz image processor used by Sony in its flagship camera.
This camera is expected to have Eye AF support that uses the Sony hybrid focus mechanism along with the AI algorithm to offer consistent subject tracking and recognition of the subject.
AF eyes will also apply to animals to help in wildlife photography and will also be present in video shooting mode as well.
Sony A7 IV is also expected to record 4K videos at 60fps.
Eye AF will also apply to 4K 60fps, which can be relevant in extreme and rapid shooting conditions such as direct exercise.
The camera also seems to offer 10-bit video recording at 4: 2: 2 Subsampling and HLL color profiles, which will help in post-production.
It is also expected for a 10fps sustainable sports shooting, but the right specific remains not disclosed.
The upcoming camera will also display the S-Log3 and Sony S-Cinetone LUT profile present at A7S III.
This camera is also expected to come with an LCD screen that articulates multi-angle and a new generation of image stabilization on the camera body.
It will be rumored to have 5GHz Wi-Fi and USB 10Gbps for data transfer and streaming directly at a higher resolution and, “15+ stops dynamic ranges” too.
Sony will reveal further details at the upcoming launch event.
The event on October 21 will also notify us about the price of the camera, as well as its availability throughout the market including India.
