Coimbatore: Investigating Pealamedu Police Wing arrested a chain snatch on Tuesday and restored the gold chain with a weight of two rulers from him.
A police officer identified Duraiimy’s charges of 56 years old, Kotagiri’s native in the Nilgiris district.
He worked as a car driver and lived in a rented house in Kanjapalli in the Coimbatore district.
The officer said Duraisamy had taken the gold chain of a girl, while he waited with his mother to take a bus at the Peellamedu bus stop on Sunday (October 17).
Based on their complaints, the cerelamedu police registered the case and arrested Duraisamy on Tuesday.
The officer said Duraisamy had faced four cases of winning the chain.
