Gurgaon: In a large reshuffle, around 30% of police inspectors gurgaon are likely to be moved from their current posts, officials said.
Haryana Director General of Police (DGP) PK Agarwal was recently written for all district police chiefs to prepare a list of inspectors who have completed more than three years in one district.
So far, the Gurgaon Police Department has identified 29 such officers who may immediately shift, said the source, adding that the final transfer order is expected to be announced before Diwali.
At present, 110 inspectors are posted in four Gurgaon police zones – East, West, South and Manesar – and traffic wings.
DCP (Headquarters) Asta Modi said the head office has requested detailed inspectors who have completed more than three years in one place.
“We will send the details needed to the DGP office,” Modi said.

Officers, who did not want to be named, meanwhile, told Ti that a letter from DGP had triggered a buzz in the department.
“Most of these inspectors are those who come to Gurgaon after getting promotions have settled their families in Gurgaon and have registered their children in city schools.
It will hurt them to move to other districts now,” said an inspector, Added that most officers in the list were posted in districts from Faridabad.
Gurgaon, said other officers, has better facilities in terms of education and overall lifestyle and many people prefer to live in Gurgaon.
“There are many officers who have been in Gurgaon for the past few years.
They left Gurgaon for one or two years and returned again,” he added.
Gurgaon police have a position approved 8,217 personnel 820 the post is empty.
Most jobs are in the ranks of sub-inspectors, breast milk and head constable.
About 845 post a blank coplalables head while 287 post ASI and 126 posts are empty.
Vacancies at the senior level, however, can be ignored.
Gurgaon has sanctioned 24 comments only six posts empty.
The approved inspector’s post is 113 of these only three currently empty.
There are no vacancies on the commissioners together and ratings DCP.
From the available styles of 6,100, around 5,377 are men and the remaining 613 women.
Gurgaon has sanctioned 791 female police, where 178 posts were empty.
There are nine posts sanctions for female inspectors, but now, 10 are posted in Gurgaon.
For posproned posts of 38 women’s sub-inspectors, 34 posted in Gurgaon, while 67 posts were approved for women of Asis, only two were empty.
At the constable head level, only 63 posts filled with sanction position 126, while the sanctions posts from 551 female concents only 450 posts are filled.
Along with the regular police, Gurgaon also has 1,060 home guards and 992 special police officers (SPOs).
