Biharsharif: A private headmaster, Deepak Mehta, along with his accomplice Ajit Kumar, was arrested on Tuesday for allegedly kidnapping and killing one Kumar Nith (20) after his mother Urmila Devi failed to pay RS50 Lakh as a ransom.
Urmila is an IV class employee at the Biharsharif and Defendant Defendant’s electricity office, the son of his brother.
After kidnapping Nitish, the population of the locality of Musadpur under the area of the Biharsharif City Police Station in Nalanda, the defendant burned a corpse at the school and threw away from the nearest river.
Biharsharif conscious Sdpo Shibli Nomani said Nitish was kidnapped on October 16 and the defendant killed him at the same night because he was afraid of being recognized.
He said Deepak, a native of Sahokhar under the Sohsarai police station, has demanded a ransom.
