Noida / Ghaziabad: When the country touched a milestone in the covid 100 crore vaccine on Thursday, Noida and Ghaziabad appeared as the top two districts in Uttar Pradesh in terms of coverage, according to the latest report.
The cumulative coverage report from the country released on October 17 stated that Gautam Budh Nagar was at the top of the list and the district had given the first dose to 112% of the estimated population that meets the requirements of 15.58 people lakh.
For the second dose, it includes 56.8% of the targeted population.
Until October 16, more than 26 doses of lakh were managed in this district, the report said.
Ghaziabad has provided a first dose of vaccine to 78.8% of the population targeted 27 lakh.
About 34% of the population has been covered in second dose.
Until October 16, more than 30 doses of lakh were given in the district, the report said.
In the case of a dose given, Ghaziabad was in third place, after Lucknow and Prasagraj, said the report.
Of the total doses given throughout the country until Thursday, with 12.3 Crore Jabs, up accounts for around 12% of that number, the highest for any country.
So far, around 9.5 crore people have taken the first dose and 2.8 crore are fully vaccinated in the state.
The estimated population that meets the requirements up is around 15.04 crores.

Previously, the survey has found that around 64,000 people in the district have not taken a single dose.
According to Tyagi, from them, around 55,000 people have taken photos now.
So far, around 16.4 men and 10.4 lakh women have taken a vaccine shot in Noida.
In the category of 18-44 years, 18.7 lakh has taken Jab.
In the group category 45-59 years and 60+, 5.3 lakh and 2.8 lakh each person took Jab.
In the early months after the vaccination drive began on January 16, Ghaziabad had seen large quantities in most sites.
The numbers gradually take and at this time, around 31.5 lakh Jabs have been given in the district.
Of this amount, around 21.8 people have taken the first dose and 9.7 lakh people have got their second jab.
Of the total recipients, around 13.8 lakh are women.
While rising has pocketed the top position, Maharashtra, with more than 9.3 doses of crore and West Bengal with a dose of 6.9 crore are the next two in terms of total inoculation.
Officials urged people to take the earliest vaccine dose and with a celebration in front, the population had been asked to follow all Covid protocols.
In the last 24 hours, 12 new Covid cases and 14 recovery have been recorded in the state.
At present, there are 107 active cases in 33 districts.
Of the total active cases, most of them come from seven districts, including Lucknow (18) and Gautam Budh Nagar (15).
