Lucknow: Secretary General of Congress Priyanka Gandhi Vadra on Saturday marked his party’s “Pratiga Yatras” from UP’s Barbanki and promised a complete loan neglect of farmers if they chose to power the following year’s assembly poll.
Yatras will take three different routes – Barabanki to Bundelkhand, Saharanpur to Mathura and Varanasi to Rae Bareli – starting October 23 to November 1 with a slogan, “Hum Vachan Nibhayenge”.
Congress leader, who previously announced to provide 40 percent of tickets to women in elections other than smartphones for class 12 pass girls and e-scooty for women graduates, also launched other resolutions from the party.
This includes the neglect of complete loans for farmers, Rs 2, 500 MSP for wheat, government work up to 20 lakh, rs 25,000 for families to help them overcome their financial losses during the Corenavirus crisis and reduce half electricity bills.
Speaking on that occasion, Priyanka said separate manifesto would be brought for women in a week.
