Kolkata: Senior Congress leader Adhir Chowdhury on Saturday alleged that the BJP government led by Prime Minister Narendra Modi tried to “confuse” the people in the country with a campaign at the Covid-19 vaccination figure.
Congress leader at Lok Sabha claimed that Modi’s campaign on the administration of 100 doses of crore vaccines was projected in a way that made it look like 100 crores, people have been inoculated.
“On the completion of the 100 doses of the crore vaccine, 100 places on.
And the prime minister tries to send across the message that 100 crore people have been fully vaccinated.
This is not the fact,” he said in the video posted on Facebook.
Chowdhury, who is also the head of the West Bengal Congress, noted that the Indian population stood at 139 crores, where 106 crore were adults.
He further showed that the government had said that 29 crore people had received a double dose, which was only 21 percent of the entire population.
“Only 21 percent are in a safe zone.
Also, the booster dose is not given in the country,” MP Congress from stresses said.
India has started the immunization program back in 1975 and the state called the “World Vaccine Center”, it was maintained.
“The central government is trying to project a vaccination campaign in a way that is the first-of-of-of-the initiative carried out in the country,” MP Congress claims.
Chowdhury also explored the chairman of the Minister of Mamata Banerjee for his claim that the country gave a free vaccine to his people, “It was quite like what the center said”, and tried to know where the money came from.
Revenue is produced by imposing taxes on gasoline, diesel and LPG, he added.
India reached a milestone in the inoculation program against Covid-19 because the cumulative vaccine dose given beyond the 100 crore sign on Thursday, which resulted in celebration in the country.
