Kanpur: In a large breakthrough, the Komisiance police on Saturday saved a small child who was kidnapped for ransom Rs 1.5 Crore from the Paski Police area in the city and arrested two people in connection with this case.
The victim was identified as Vaibhav Singh Chandel (15), Deependra Singh’s son of Kala Purwa, while the defendant had been identified as Uday Bhan Singh and Raj Bahadur Singh from Banda Regency.
Police said deependra, the father of Vaibhav, filed a complaint lost at the office of the committee on October 22.
On October 21, Vaibhav had gone to Sunder Nagar in Gangaganj Pkeki to attend the training class.
When he didn’t get home at night, a family member was worried.
Then, they launched a panic search, but it didn’t work.
The next morning, the family told the police and filed a lost complaint.
Furthermore, the police launched an investigation and around 7 in the morning on Saturday morning, they found a missing Vaibhav bike parked outside the emergency store in Bandhua when in the Panki area.
Then, the police questioned the kiosk owner when he came to open the shop around 9 in the morning, with regard to the bicycle parked from Vaibhav.
He told the police that some people came in a white SUV, one of them had parked a bicycle here and told him that Vaibhav would return in some time.
Then, the kiosk owner was suspicious, and recorded the number of SUVs.
Police after getting the SUV registration number focused on the suspects.
“During the investigation, it discussed that the vehicle was registered on behalf of someone from Banda District,” police said.
The police swung in action and reached Banda and based on the SUV number managed to save Vaibhav from the clutches of the kidnappers from the finger village forest.
The police also arrested two people in this connection.
Additional Commissioner of Police Anand Prakash Tiwari said Akash (20), son of One Bhallu Singh, a resident when purwa, friendly with Vaibhav victims because both were used to take together college classes in the training center.
“Later, Akash knows that Vaibhav’s father has sold agricultural land worth Rs 2.5 Crores.
After this, he hatched the conspiracy and involved his relatives who lived in Banda to kidnap Vaibhav.
Then Akash, Uday Raj Bahadur Singh also joined conspiracy.” He added.
Police Commissioner Asim Kumar Arun said, “We have saved the child and arrested two people in this matter.
The search for police was ongoing to make the other three possible arrests.
We have decided to appreciate the police team who managed to restore the boy in it.

We have recovered two state pistols and two motorbikes and SUVs from people arrested.
