Bengaluru / MySuru: Even though the school has been allowed to return to grade 1 to 5 from Monday, several private schools in Mysore City and throughout the country said they would be reopened only in the first week or second November.
The government only allows a half-day class to the end of the month, and daily classes from November 2.
However, while private schools are improved, Staterun School plans to welcome students from Monday.
“We are directed at receiving students from Monday,” said Ramachandra Raje Urs, Deputy Director of Public Instruction, Mysuru.
Some private schools plan to open until November 15 for various reasons.
“Many schools plan to start classes on campus from November 15 to ensure there is sustainability between the gods,” said R Manjunath Srivatsa, Joint Secretary, CBSE, ICSE & Personal School Association (CISPMAM).
“Schools are now doing the semester’s midterm test.
So, most want to delay the reopening for the primary part.” Srivatsa said the class on campus for students in class 6 and above was successfully held.
“The school strictly follows the SOP.
So, there is no reason to worry,” he said.
D Shashikumar, Secretary General, Management related to elementary and secondary schools said most private schools that followed the state syllabus would continue the physical class from Monday.
“But the part of the CBSE and ICSE affiliated school was postponed because many parents were anxious to send their children to school,” he said.
Savita Kulkarni, the elderly from the school who went by the son of MySore City, admitted he was worried.
“We read about a new surge in cases in the UK and China, etc.
Most parents today only have one child so no one wants to take the opportunity.” Meanwhile, BC Nagesh, Minister of Education Pratama and medium, said he would discuss this issue with officials and stakeholders.
