New Delhi: The price of gasoline and diesel witnessed an increase for the fifth consecutive day throughout the country on Sunday.
With an increase of Rs 0.35, the price of gasoline in the national capital increased to Rs 107.59 per liter.
Diesel prices also saw an increase in rs 0.35 in Delhi, each of them amounting to Rs 96.32 per liter respectively today.
Mumbai also reported a surge in fuel prices compared to yesterday.
Gasoline witnessed an increase of rs 0.34 and the cost of Hospital RS 113.46 per liter, while Diesel rates were prepared by Rs 0.38 of Hospital Rs 104.38.
As for Kolkata, the price of gasoline is Rs 108.11 per liter, while Diesel is Rs 99.43 per liter.
In Chennai, gasoline and diesel each Rs 104.52 and Rs 100.59 per liter.
Rates have been upgraded throughout the country and different from the state to the state depending on the incidence of value added tax.
The increase in fuel prices in the country will not soon come down.
The central government is in talks with several oil exporter countries about the issue of supply and oil demand but there is no possible assistance immediately.
On Monday, a source told Ani that the Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Gas recently raised concerns about the issue of pricing, supply and demand for oil to the main oil-producing countries.
“Because crude prices rose internationally, the Ministry of Petroleum called the Ministry of Energy from many countries such as Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, UAE, Russia and others,” said the source to Ani.
