Aizawl: Mizoram enrolled 572 new Covid-19 cases, 173 less than the previous day, pushing the calculation to 1.17,261, a health department official said on Sunday.
The single-day front of the day in the country was 9.47 percent as 572 people including 138 children tested positively for infection of 6,037 samples tested, he said.
Mizoram reported 745 new Covid-19 cases on Saturday.
The death toll of Covid-19 rose to 407 because seven more people gave up on infection for the past 24 hours, he said.
The Aizawl district reported the highest number of cases in 298, followed by Lunglei (64) and Serchhip (61), the official said.
The country currently has 8,943 Covid-19 cases active, while 1,07,911 people have recovered from this disease, including 1,258 on Saturday, he said.
The current level of Covid-19 recovery is 92 percent and the mortality rate is 0.34 percent.
The country has done more than 12.67 lakh sample tests for Covid-19 so far.
More than 6.93 lakh people have been vaccinated until Saturday, where 5.02 lakh people have received both doses of Covid-19 vaccine, state immunization officers, Dr.
Lalzawmi said.
