MySuru: In budget speech 2021-22, former Minister of Chief BS Yediyurappa has announced treatment will be given to cancer patients in the nearest places with affordable levels without delay.
He said the regional cancer treatment centers in the Kidwai Oncology Cancer Research and Training (KMio) warning institute model will begin in MySuru and Shivamogga with the total expenditure of Rs 100 Crore.
The Kidwai Institute has now taken a job for the MySore Center.
New facilities have been proposed in the place of a special hospital specially on Jalan Krs.
The Institute has been looking for 10 hectares in the hospital place for this purpose and 50 other hectares for the Cancer Research Center proposed in the city.
“This regional cancer center will become a 350-bed capacity hospital.
All facilities available in Kidwai, Bengaluru will also be available here.
This will lower the pressure at the center of Bengaluru because it will meet the needs of cancer patients from MySuru, Mandya, Chamarajanagar, Hassan, And Kodagu, “said Dr.

C Ramachandra, director KMIO, visit the city and examine the proposed sites from the new regional center.

In 2010, then Medical Education Minister Ramachandregowda had inaugurated the Kidwai hospital branch at KR Hospital in the city.

MP Pratap Sime said it was the RS 250 Crores project.
