Patna: The Enforcement Directorate (ED) on Monday Property attached temporarily worth 6.85 crore, additional district judges dismissed (ADM) Bhagalpur, Jayshree Thakur, and his family members.
The action against Thakur was taken under the provisions of the prevention of money laundering law, 2002.
The Thakur name had previously thought in the Srijan multi-crore scam, which led to the dismissal of the service in August 2017.
In a statement, the asset central investigation agency said in the form of balances In 42 bank accounts, 15 land plots, one flat value and maturity of 15 insurance policies.
15 Land and flat plots have a total consideration value of Rs 1.54 Crore, while the value of the delivery of 15 insurance policies is Rs 26 Lakh.
The rest number of Rs 5.05 Crore is in a 42 bank account.
Ed initiated the investigation against Thakur after the disproportionate asset case provided by the Bihar Police Violation Unit (Eou) in 2013.
Eou has accused the ADM of Bhagalpur and Banka District Land Liberation Officers to collect disproportional assets worth RS 13.98 Crore Between January 1987 and June 2013.
Thakur, who held charges of land acquisition officials in the Banka district, had a unique modus operandi.
He helped his introduction to buy land at low prices in certain areas.
The same land is then obtained by the government with a much higher level on behalf of the development project.
Thus, he gained bad wealth by misusing his official position and practice of corruption.
The state government acts hard when his name is cut in Srijan Scam.
He has deposited a large number at a cooperative bank run by an NGO, Srijan Mahila Vikas just Samiti, in Bhagalpur.
Initially, he was compiled.
But then the government refused from service after the search was made in its residential area.
He has accumulated wealth in his name and his husband Rajesh Choudhary, son of Rishikesh Choudhary and Princess Rajshree.
