Saudi Coalition said killing 85 rebels around Marib Yemen
Written by news2in

Riyadh: a military coalition led by Saudi supported the government in Yemen said Tuesday killing 85 Huthi rebels in air strikes for the last 24 hours near Marib’s strategic city.
The newly intended toll road brought around 1,800 the number of rebels claimed by the coalition had been killed in the strike over the past two weeks around Marib.
Iran’s supported Hutis rarely commented on losses, and AFP could not independently verify the toll road.
Marib, the capital of oil-rich provinces with the same name, is the last leg of the government recognized internationally in North Yemen.
“Nine crushed military vehicles and 85” guerrillas were killed in a strike in the last 24 hours in Al-Jawba, south of Marib, and Al-Kassara, northwest of the city, the coalition said, quoted by the official Saudi Press agent.
The coalition said he had carried out a severe attack around Marib in recent weeks.
In February, Hutih began a big boost to seize Marib, and had updated their attack since September after the break.
Yemeni’s civil war began in 2014 when Hutis won the capital Sanaa, 120 kilometers west of Marib, encouraged Saudi LED forces to intervene to sustain the government the following year.
Tens of thousands of people have died and millions of people have been displaced, in what is called the United Nations for the worst humanitarian crisis in the world.
