Chandrapur: The Shiv Sena District Unit has accused abuse in special repair work at the CIRCUIT House under the Public Works Department (PWD).
Sandeep Girl’s district president charged that PWD had chosen contractors and started work, even before the e-tender for work opened.
Girhe said PWD had taken repair work – worth RS16 Lakh – VIP section and the general part of the circuit house.
He accused that the department began work through the contractor without removing e-tenders.
When the fact that PWD began work without removing e-tenders came to knowledge, Girhe met the Executive Engineer PWD Sunil Kumbe to ask.
“Kumbhe provides an answer to avoiding e-tendering work.
However, the e-tender was published on October 22.
Even when tenders will be opened on October 29, work has begun,” Gire said.
He shared a photo of a job that had been completed with complaints, and had warned agitation if the investigation was not done.
