Rajkot: A 25-year-old married woman without a child was raped by a Doctor Ayurvedic at the Kodinar of the Somnath GIR district he did to consult on Tuesday.
The police said that the woman was first taken for care to accuse a doctor, Soarki Day, by her mother-in-law about 18 days ago.
Solanki gave him medicine, but also said that someone had made a mantra in the woman.
He then offered to conduct a ceremony to eliminate the evil influence of spells.
After the women’s medicine succeeded, Solanki asked him to visit him at his clinic for the ceremony to remove the mantra.
The woman returned to meet Soarki with her mother-in-law, but Solanki asked her mother-in-law to wait outside.
Solanki asked the woman to wear her wedding saree and did the ceremony.
When he changed his dress after the ceremony, Solanki raped him.
Surprised, the woman told her husband and other family members about how Solanki attacked and raped him.
The woman approached the police after her family member decided to register a complaint against the doctor.
Based on the woman’s statement, a violation was registered in Soarki.
The defendant’s doctor had not been arrested.
