Vadodara: A 70-year-old man and his son allegedly committed suicide by jumping in front of the train in the city of Vadodara, police said on Wednesday.
The reason behind the extreme step taken by Dalal (73) and his son Rasesh Dalal (43) was unclear, a police officer Railway Vadodara said.
Duo jumped before a long-range train near Locality Makarpura on Tuesday night, he said.
Dalal lives with his son and wife in the alkapuri area.
Rasesh was not married and said suffering from psychological illness, the official said, added that further investigation was ongoing.
