Tamil Nadu reported 1,061 fresh covid-19 infections, 12 deaths

Chennai: Ten districts reported new cases in one digit on Thursday, when new cases in the country fell to 1,061 from 1,075 on Wednesday.
TN reported 12 deaths and issued 1,286 people from the registry.
In the end, there were 12,051 active cases and the cumulative highway reached 36,072.
Chennai (135) and Coimbatore (123) are the only two districts to report cases in three digits.
The two districts also have the highest number of active cases – Chennai (1,508) and Coimbatore (1,330).

Kallakurichi reported the sharpest increase in 9 cases from 2 reported on Wednesday.

Of the 12 deaths on Thursday, there were three each in Chennai and Coimbatore.
Trichy and Nagapattinam reported two deaths followed by each of them in Tiruvarur and Tiruppur.
Thirty-two other districts reported zero death.
