Gurgaon: A 19-year-old man was arrested on Wednesday because of persecuting a six-year-old girl in the village of Qureshipur in Faridabad.
The defendant, identified as Ashraf aka Ajju, has been ordered under the Pocso Law.
“He has worked in Faridabad for the past half of the year.
At present, he is in prison,” said Sube Singh Police spokesman.
The defendant lives next to an underage child, police said.
Minor’s mother arrested her with a red hand and reported the incident.
According to complaints, he saw Ashraf inappropriately touching his daughter in his room.
The 30-year-old woman worked as a waiter and had two sons and daughters.
On Wednesday, he returned home after work and went looking for his son.
When entering Ashraf’s room, he found his daughter there.
He immediately approached the Women’s Nit police station and registered a complaint.
Based on it, the police detained Ashraf, who was a laborer from Bihar.
He has worked with a company in Pali.
He was then produced in court and was imprisoned.
