Berlin: a knife attack on a high-speed train in Germany has hurt several people, a German media report.
The local police told Broadcaster Bayerischer Rundfunk that they received a call about the attack around 9 am local time on Saturday.
The train in question, one of the German high-speed ice trains, traveled between the cities of Bavaria Regensburg and Nuremberg during the attack.
One person was arrested and many people were injured, police said.
So far, there is no information about attackers or possible motives.
A spokesman for the German railroad network confirmed that the station was at the Seubersdorf, where the train is currently stopped, it has been closed since around 9am and the train trip between Regensburg and Nuremberg has been suspended.
