Rajkot: A man was shot dead in a feud between two families in Sayla Taluka in Surendranagar on Monday morning.
According to the police, the Jebaliya family and Dhandhal have long-standing on money disputes.
On Monday the three men who were identified as Munna Dhandhal, Uday Dhandhal and Raghu Dhandhal arrived in Nagarka Village in the car and opened fire on Shardul Jebaliya killed him in place.
In retaliation, the three were attacked by the Jebaliya family.
They also suffered serious injuries and underwent hospital treatment in botads.
Additional police have been deployed in hospitals to prevent better incidents.
While the police said that the defendant only fired a round in Jebaliya, who hit him in the chest, the sources claimed many rounds fired indiscriminately.
Police have sought assistance from forensic experts to ascertain how many rounds are fired.
Meanwhile, based on the complaint submitted by the father of the deceased, Bhoja Jebaliya, the police have ordered a trio for murder and also under ARM acting.
Other violations were also registered by the police because of the attacks conducted on the three were accused.
After the incident, a senior police officer, including the Deputy Supervisor of Chetan Mundhwa police reached the village.
“There was a crack of past because the clash broke on Monday morning.
We have placed bandobast in hospitals and also in the village,” Mundhwa said.
