Vadodara: Kidney and the heart of a 24-year-old dentist, who had an accident last week, would give a new lease for many people.
The woman had met an accident on November 11 and her condition continued to deteriorate.
Barot Rutvi suffered an accident when returning home from the gym in the city of Karelibug City when the scooter he listened to collided with a truck.
Rutvi rushed to the SSG Hospital (SSGH) for care and from there he was taken to Sterling Hospital.
He has a coma and his lungs and the heart is badly damaged.
Without neurological improvement, the chance of survival becomes very slim.
Doctors explain the gloomy situation to his relatives and also suggest that his organs can be donated.
Former corporate and uncle Rutvi Ketan Brahmbhatt said that Rutvi had discussed the organ contribution with his father Manoj Rao a few days before he suffered a fatal accident.
“His cousin’s organs were also donated after he died in a train accident,” Brahmbhatt said.
Doctors do not find the lungs and heart suitable for transplants.
Other organs are expected to save the lives of three or four people.
The green corridor was created by the police to ensure fast transportation of organs.
