Bengaluru: Covid carnataka vaccination coverage touches other historical milestones on Saturday with a total number of managed doses breaking the Seven Crore.
With 2.9 doses of lakh given on Saturday (at 9pm), the country has so far used more than 4.3 crore doses for the first shooting coverage and more than 2.6 crore for the second.
On November 20, the state has stuck 89.2% of the population that qualifies with the first dose and 54.2% with the second.
Bengaluru Urban District has seen the highest dose coverage with more than 121%, followed by Kodagu (97.5%) and Vijayapura (almost 97%).
In the second dose coverage, Bengaluru urban districts remain above (almost 80%).
In the limit of BBMP, almost 88% have been covered with the first dose and more than 60% of the population of adult cities have been completely affixed.
At present, the Har Ghar Dastak campaign (knock on each door) is being held, as part of which health workers examine people who are not vaccinated and those caused by the second dose.
It will continue until the end of the month.
The doctor ‘Cyctothon Todoa team consisting of 10 doctors from Bengaluru will participate in Cyctothon on Sunday from Bengaluru to Mysuru to celebrate, encourage and improvise the Covid vaccination program in the state.
The team headed by a critical treatment specialist Dr.
Justin A Gopaldas aims to cover a distance of 150 km in 8-10 hours.
