Chennai: To reduce pressure on students and teachers, the State Council school has urged the government to cancel this year’s XI XI Council exam.
Physical classes have been carried out every day for class X and XII students since September 1, but those in class XI have attended classes on alternative days in most schools to maintain social distance.

“If the XI class council exam is canceled, the teacher can focus more on class XII.
Exams can be done at the district level as before,” said N Vijayan, the Principal of the Senior Matriculation of Middle School in Tambaram.
Releasing the class X and XII exam schedule earlier will help school plan for the rest of the academic year and prepare students.
V Shanthi, Principal Vidyodaya Girls Secondary School in T Nagar, said it was difficult to complete the reduced syllabus at the time available.
“Parents add pressure to students because of the council test.
At least for class XI students, the government must consider canceling the council exam,” he added.
Two Board Exams in a higher secondary will pursue students and teachers because less time, said G J Manohar, headmaster MCC Secondary School in Chetpet.
“Although many students and teachers take the subject of class XI seriously only after the introduction of the council exam, this year the government must think of a simple objective type test or commemorating the exam for class XI.”
A Peter Raja, President of the Association of Principal and High Tamil Nadu, said class XI students were worried about the council exam due to the learning gap.
“If the test is canceled, the pressure will decrease.”
