Berlin: The German parliament has chosen Olaf Scholz as the Chancellor of World War Nine II, opened a new era for the European Union’s most populous country after the 16-year term of Angela Merkel.
The Scholz government took office with high hopes of modernizing Germany and fighting climate change, but facing direct challenges to deal with the country’s toughest phase has not been a pandemic of Coronavirus.
Scholz won the support of 395 parliamentarians on Wednesday.
The three-party coalition held 416 seats at the parliamentary house under 736 seats.
Scholz will be officially named as a Chancellor by the President of Germany and appointed by the parliamentary speaker later Wednesday.
