Ahmedabad: The Gujarat High Court on Thursday reunited the interface couple who had married last year, but separated after they were tracked.
The Hindu man was arrested on charges of rape and violations of children’s protection from the sexual law (Pocso) and Muslim girls were put in a shelter house in Junagadh for more than a year.
According to the details of the case, the couple came from the Kodinar Block in the Somnath GIR district.
In August last year, they married and the girl’s father filed a sand against the man who accused the rape of 22 years and a violation of Act Pocso, because the girl was still small at the time.
The police bowed them in November.
Because there was a criminal charges against the man, the police arrested him and sent him to the trial detention.
They sent the girl to a shelter in Junagadh, Shraddhar Gruh.
For almost 10 months, the couple could not communicate because the man was in prison and the girl was in a shelter and was not permitted to meet anyone.
In September, the High Court guarantees the man, who tried to contact the girl but was unsuccessful.
He moved the High Court through Prashant Chavda’s Advocate and filed a Habeas Corpus petition, stating that his lover was an adult and had been stored in an illegal shelter and opposed his will.
He also quoted the girl’s statement during the trial, showing that he told the session court that he fell in love with this man, but because they came from different religions, their families were reluctant to their union.
He got engaged to a man he didn’t like and therefore decided to run away with his girlfriend.
He wants to marry the defendant.
After reading the documents, the High Court called the girl and asked what he would expect.
He told the judges that he wanted to go with the man and they would get married.
