Ahmedabad: For the second day in a row, Gujarat reported more than 60 new Covid-19 cases, 67, a 10% increase of 61 cases on Tuesday.
Of these, 23 cases or one third of Ahmedabad city only.
This is the highest one-day calculation for the country in five months.
Other new cases include 11 of the city letter, seven each of the city of Jamnagar and Vadodara, four of the letters, three of each of the Banskantha and Valsad, respectively from Ahmedabad, Kutch, Navsari, and one from Vadodara.
The city corporate area contributed 72% of new cases.
City-based experts say while low mortality and morbidity, it’s time to be vigilant.

Bharat Gadhvi, President of Ahmedabad Hospitals and Nursing Homes Association (AHNA), said that the increase should not be taken lightly.
“Inpatient in private hospitals increased slightly until 9 on Wednesday night, where one patient was in the ventilator and one was in the ICU.
This number has not passed 10 for the past four months,” he said.
“Because this is a wedding season and social meeting, we urge everyone to maintain social distance and use masks at the meeting.” With the discharge of 22 patients, the number of active cases in the country rose 45, one of the highest increases in recent times, took the total number of active cases passing 400 to 417.
This is the highest number of July since July 20.

Officials also urge people who have related symptoms not to wait and approach the doctor as soon as possible to put aside Covid-19.
City-based infectious disease specialists say this is the time to break the infection chain and will only occur when infected people obey the rules of quarantine, declare their status correctly and ensure that close and respectable is safe.
