New Delhi: Delhi Airport has requested the center to make it mandatory for all international passengers from “risky” countries to order RT-PCR tests on their arrival.
Crowding scenes a few days ago has pushed almost half of 3,000 strange passengers every day flying to IGI airports from these countries for pre-register – up from 30% when the new rules are kicked in scare omicron.
Nearly 85% of passengers arrived to choose the RT-PCR RS 3,500 IDR 3,500 test that the report reached a maximum of 90 minutes, according to Delhi International Airport Ltd.
(dial).
“We are looking for a national accreditation board for testing and calibration permissions’ (Nabl) permission to shift multiple testing machines from the multi-level parking lot in front of T3 into the terminal to cut the time to take samples to the lab,” Call CEO Video Yumar Jaipuriar told TOI on Friday.
“So far 35 machines have been installed in the terminal and we have asked for NABT to allow us to have 100 machines.
The aim is to cut the time to get a fast RT-PCR report for up to 20 minutes,” he added.
All leaflets from risky countries can leave the airport only after reporting, said Jaipuriar.
However, “someone who comes from a non-risky country, say the US, with transit through airports in risky countries, say London / Frankfurt / Paris, do not need to be tested for the foreman on arrival,” pointing it out.
“We have made provisions in our air suvidha portal to separate passengers like that based on the place of origin to ensure that nothing will be tested without the need or avoiding the same.” People who register from risky countries have red ribbons and “H” are written in their form to detect them if there is black and white mold.
The rest has an orange band and there is no alphabet.
Dial first made arrangements for testing on arrival because of Covid-19 in December 2020 when the same thing was made mandatory for the arrival of Britain and South Africa following the Delta variant.
About 300 people who come from England are then tested every day.
Now with the arrival of more countries that require testing, settings are made at 10 times scale – ranging from daily 300 to 3,000.
“We have twice the arrival of different peaks of risky countries – 11 nights to 2am (800 leaflets) and 10:00 to noon (500-600 leaflets).
Risky countries that have space to add flights from settings Bubbles are not given more flights during these hours, “said Jaipuriar.
