Don't take a serious diary: Oasis Guardian

Vadodara: The Trustee of the Oasis Institute told Crime Branch on Friday that they did not know that the 18-year-old Navsari girl studied at their institution had gangraped.
Even when the police roasted Sanjeev Shah and Preeti Nair for several hours, they said the duo did not give a satisfying reply.
“Shah and Nair stated that the girl never told them or anyone at the Institute that she was gangraped.
They claimed that the girl told Vaishnavi Taparia, an employee at Oasis, which she met with accident and injured.
Vaishnavi told about things It was to Shah and Nair, “said a crime branch official.
“The two guardian experts claimed that they asked Vaishnavi to whatsapp them of the girl’s injury.
The girl suffered an injury on her leg and on the one hand.
Duo stated that they removed the photos after seeing them because they were personal images,” said Officials to Toi.
Both of them have, however, read a diary where the girl said she was ‘sexually attacked’.
When asked why they did not tell the police about it, the duo stated that they ‘did not consider the diary seriously’.
Shah and Nair, however, denied tearing pages in the girl’s diary.
“They thought that the girl must have written a fictional story.
But, if the girl wrote in her diary that she was sexually attacked, the guardian should tell her parents and police.
Their behavior is not responsible,” the researchers added.
Interestingly, while the two Trustees repeated that the girl was like a daughter for them, the police knew that they still had not met their parents to offer condolences.
“We will call the Shah Mentor, Nair, Vaishnavi and Oasis Institute again and all will be questioned together.
If their reply is inconclusive, they may be held below,” said D Chauhan, ACP (Crime).
The girl was allegedly gangraped at the Ground Institute of Vaccines by two men on October 29.
He committed suicide on the train in Valsad on November 4 and the police learned about sexual violence stored in his bag.
The police said that the girl’s parents never suspected anything when she behaved normally after she returned to her house in Navsari after alleged rape.
