T’puram: Even when the government ruled out further talks with a striking PG medical student who was in an unlimited boycott of all emergency services in the government medical college, Medicos said the government’s latest steps to designate their workload.
373 Junior non-academic residents consist of only one fifth of the strength needed, said representative of the Post Post Kerala Association (KMPGA).
This happened after Health Minister Veena George put aside the talks, said the government had done everything possible to overcome the demands carried out by PG Medicos.
They want a non-resident junior doctor to designate their workload.
The government appointed 373 junior doctors, whose placement would begin from Monday.
Regarding the increase in salary, the Ministry of Health has taken it with the Ministry of Finance, he added.
Veena explained that there was no room for the conversation again when PG students continued with the strike.
The strike affects the function of the hospital, and therefore they must immediately withdraw from him.
“Representatives of PG doctors who held talks with the government twice before, expressed satisfaction with the results and were willing to attract strikes.
They are not part of the ongoing attack,” he said.

PG Medicos also accused that the Ministry of Health had threatened not to let the strike students appear for the exam.
