Pune: The state government on Sundays must cancel the recruitment exam for 14 engineering and other posts in Maharashtra Housing and the Regional Development Authority (MHADA) after attempts to leak paper exams.
About 2.5 kidang work lakh from all states will appear for this exam.
Pune police have received a tip-off on Saturday night about efforts to leak paper questions.
Amitabh Gupta, Commissioner of the City Police, said, “Working in several instructions, our cyber police team on Saturday arrested a resident of Pimpri, Pritish Deshmukh, Director of the GA software company and two of his friends, Ankush Rambhu Harkal, from Vishrantwadi, allegations of conspiracy to paper Leak.
“Police restored nine drives pens containing PDFs from paper questions and laptops containing the same burdensome material from them.
“Deshmukh and the other two, who want to circulate paper, do not have a business carrying paper sets in PDFs and laptops outside the company’s office.
Deshmukh is expected to maintain maximum confidentiality in this matter,” Gupta said.
Ankush is a resident of SindKhedraj in Buldhana and Santosh comes from Aurangabad.
Apart from the three, the police secured the custody of three other suspects, who were already in prison in connection with the recent health department leakage case, after their relationship with Mhada’s paper leak efforts appeared in the future, police said.
Gupta said, “Residents of Aurangabad Aurangabad, Chavan, Krushna Jadhav and Ankit Chankhore are among 17 which are held so far in the case of the Ministry of Health’s recruitment exam What aspires is high.
“Chief Executive Mhada, Nitin Mane-Patil has filed a complaint in this relationship.
On Sunday, the holiday court ordered the detention of the custodial from six held in the case of Mhada until December 18.
After receiving a tip-off, the police team under the additional commissioner of the Ramnath Pokale Police (crime), Deputy Commissioner of Police (Cyber) Bhagyashri Navatake, Assistant Commissioner of Police Vijaykumar Palsule, Inspector Ankush Chintaman and Patil Meenal went to Aurangabad, Jalna, Beed, Pune Thane to find a suspect.
The police then got information that the Harkals were in Vishrantwadi and put a trap to take both with Deshmukh to detention.
The three were found in the car where Deshmukh would hand over the pen drive to the Harkals, the police said.
Police found three hall tickets, educational certificates, and blank inspection of prospective candidates with all three.
The police also found a pen drive which contained MHADA recruitment test questions, and a list of 35 candidates who should appear for the Ministry of Health exam.
