India voted on the UNSC climate concept

New Delhi: India on Monday chose to oppose the resolution of the Draft UNSC which tried to “secure” climate action and damage the difficult consensual agreement in Glasgow, the government said.
While China Abstain, resolution – who strives to connect climate change with the threat to international security and get support from the US, Britain and France – heated by Russia.
According to a report, the first resolution was supported by 113 of the 193 UN member countries.
These include 12 board members.

The Indian Ambassador said the resolution sent the wrong message to developing countries that “instead of overcoming concerns and holding developed countries responsible for fulfilling their commitment under the UNFCCC, we are willing to be shared and adapted to Medicine”.
While reaffirming India’s commitment to fight climate change, Tiruahu said India would always support real climate action and serious climate justice.
“We will always speak for the benefit of developing countries, including Africa and Sahel region.
And we will do it in the right place, the UNFCCC,” he said.
He also said that developed countries must provide the earliest climate finance of $ 1 trillion, by saying the need for climate finance is tracked by climate perseverance as climate mitigation.
“Developed countries have failed in their promises,” he added.
