LONDON: Lewis Hamilton is not robbed from Formula One Championship and Mercedes will look like a bad loser if they signed Max Verstappen’s success, former Supremo Bernie Ecclestone’s said on Monday.
Mercedes, the constructor champion for the recording of the eight consecutive year, has two protests dismissed after Sunday deciding Abu Dhabi Grand Prix and has provided notice of their intention to appeal.
Red Bull’s Verstappen beat the Mercedes’ Seven Times Champion Hamilton by following the last lap race after Michael’s racing director Masi controversially changed the safety car procedure.
“This is a complete and total nonsense,” Ecclestone told Sky Sports News about Hamilton’s advice was cheated.
“I think it will be the worst thing they can do,” said 91 years old to advance with an appeal.
“I mean, it seems like they are bad losers.” British people also say Masi has done “the right thing” and should not be blamed.
