Mumbai: The proposal to dismiss Deputy Fire Chief (DCFO) Shashikant Kale of the service has been transferred after the investigation department found him guilty of the moral muddiness and misleading to make his superiors recommended for fire service medal for Galantry president.
City Commissioner Iqbal Chahal has put a proposal before the Standing Committee of the Civic.
“Kale, who DCFO zone 6, has been found guilty of violating the norms of behavior of services and all charges against him were proved.
The charges against him are grave in nature and as a punishment, I am asking you to fire from city services,” the proposal said.
The proposal said the investigation department discovered Kale guilty of moral crimes.
“It was found that Kale deliberately and with the intention of misleading the boss Mala Fide and with that he also misled the state government, the governor’s office and the president to provide false information.” Kale did not respond to queries from TOI.
