Hyderabad: Four people disguised as CBI agents allegedly stole gold and cash from the broker’s house in Gachibowli here, police said on Tuesday.
According to a senior police officer, on Monday afternoon four people came in a car in a complex apartment and entered the house by posing as a CBI agent and collected almirah’s key from the wife of a broker.
With the pretext of the search operation they took 1.35 kg gold jewelry and between Rs 1 to Rs 2 Lakh cash and left the place, the official said.
Then a complaint was submitted and based on the case under the relevant IPC section registered, officially added.
