Hyderabad: One passenger who landed at Rajiv Gandhi International Airport (RGIA) Shamshabad on Monday was tested positively Covid-19 and the sample was taken for genome sequencing.
With these 3 samples awaited for genome sequencing results.
On Monday a total of 758 passengers landed at the airport.
So far 5,316 passengers have arrived at Shamshabad airports from high-risk countries.
Meanwhile Telangana saw 190 new Covid-19 cases and one death on Saturday.
5,336 reports are still awaited.
The number of active cases in the country reaches 3,837.
The total number of cases from the beginning of the pandemic last year, stood at 6.78,478 and the dead were at 4,008.
A total of 198 patients were declared recovered on Monday, the total count of patients was restored to 6,70,633.
The case fatality rate (CFR) stood at 0.59 percent while the recovery rate reached 98.84 percent now.

Outside the city of Hyderabad and its edges, Suryapet with 10 new cases recorded the highest number of cases outside the GHMC limit.
