Noida: Homesuard has been arrested for allegedly beating and extorting money from a young man in Noida.
Homesuard has threatened the victim to bear the consequence if he reported this problem to the police.
According to the police, the defendant has been identified as Aarif Khan, who was posted at the Sector Police Station 58 in Noida.
In his complaint, Sumit Kumar, stated that he had parked his car on the roadside near the sector 58 last week when a man in a police uniform approached him.
“He began to demand money and threatened me that if I failed to do it, he would apply me in a fake case.
He also attacked me and took Rs 12,000 from me,” complainants reading.
“A registered case and during the identification process, the victim identified HomeGuard.
Khan was arrested in the relevant IPC section.
He was produced before the court and had been sent to the trial detention,” said a senior police officer at the Sector Police Station 58.
