Chandigarh: As many as 100 people were arrested and 98 FIR was registered under the NDPS law as the police and narcotics control bureau carried out a joint attack in Haryana on Tuesday.
Interior Minister Anil Vij said that according to the report received from different districts, 3,315 police personnel attacked 1,169 places.
VIJ said that during the raid, 3.515kg opium, 20.034g slapped, 117.85g heroin, 13.911kg poppy husk, 35,590kg marijuana and 20 injections were confiscated.
He said that this special campaign was launched to eradicate drug addiction from the country.
