Thiruvananthapuram: The stand-off between graduate medical students and state governments tend to spend in talks between the two parties scheduled for Tuesday.
Although Health Minister Veena George ruled out talks with striking students, the situation in the medical hospital was reduced on Monday because people were rejected by treatment due to lack of doctors.
This is the reason why the state government produces demand for discussion.
The Minister of Health, who really ruled out the PG medical students who attacked, at the beginning of the day called home surgeons for the conversation.
Home surgeons are boycott of 24-hour tasks at medical college hospitals demanding the government to reduce their workload.
The home surgeon has accused that because of a job boycott by PG Medicos, they are charged with work.
However, this discussion failed because the government was not ready to consider their requests that they had to be withdrawn from the tasks that should be done by PG Medicos.
The 24-hour strike from home surgeons will expire at 8 am on Tuesday.
With home surgery and medical studies postgraduate boiled boilcotting, the function of all departments in the government medical hospital was completely beaten.
There are no OP and IP wings that function because there are no doctors to serve.
At the Thiruvananthapuram medical medical hospital, senior doctors also boycotted work to support the strike called by PG students.
Patients who come to the wing of the OP from the medical hospital must return because no doctor.
Only very few doctors are present in the OP wing which produces a long queue of patients in many departments.
Because of strikes, many elective operations were postponed and only emergency cases were attended on Monday.
So far the state government has resisted against PG students when the government holds that all the reasonable demands raised by PG students have been fulfilled, and therefore do not want to enter into two strike students.
