Hyderabad: Telangana detected three omicron variants that mutated from Covid-19 on Wednesday, joined nine states and trade union areas in the country that recorded variants so far.
The three were tested positive at the airport but allowed to leave after it was advised to quarantine at home.
Of the three, a 7-year-old boy from West Bengal who uses Hyderabad to transit has returned from Abu Dhabi and has been home when the omicron status is known.
