Kanpur: The special cover of the four great heroes of freedom will be released during the virtual stamp exhibition which will be held at the head of the December 16 to 17 under the ongoing Amrit Mahotsav to celebrate the 75th anniversary of independence.
This is for the first time the virtual stamp exhibition is detained.
Among the specific covers to be released, the most special cover will be from Mahatma Gandhi.
Gandhiji came to Kanpur for the first time on December 16, 1916.
At the completion of the 105 years of his arrival, the head of the post Master General Kaushalendra Kumar Sinha would inaugurate a special cover and representation of Gandhiji in the Filately Department.
Postmaster Head Manoj Kumar Srivastava said that the theme of this exhibition was the struggle and contribution of Indian freedom from Uttar Pradesh.
“The special cover will be released at Chandra Shekhar Azad by HBTU Vice-Chancellor and at Nana Saheb Peshawa and Tatya Tope by CSJMU VC.

Kanpur Post Collector will Placed in a competitive category.
The best three post collectors will be given, “said Postmaster’s head.
Participating collectors from outside the Kanpur will be placed in invited categories.
In this case also the best three collectors will get awards.
So far more than 40 post collectors.
There will also be three competitions for children.
